Grrrrrr

Spent an age writing my blog and I lost the thing! So instead you will get the condensed version.  I am very blessed.  I have so many good things in my life and so many opportunities. The experience I have are happy, sad, great and not so great. Mother try my patience, humility and sense of humour but they are still good! Life is really full at the moment sometimes with difficult challenges for me but some fun challenges too.  I am so blessed to be surrounded by good things and see so many good things in the world which lift me and make me feel hope and optimistic.  I am not saying my life is perfect, I face many challenges and my family face many challenges I play the hand I am dealt and don't always win!
I am grateful to know whatever is happening I can speak to God and He hears, listens and still loves.  There is wonderful talk by Henry B Eyring about prayer from April 2015 conference. I want my voice to be familiar to God because I talk to Him regularly not only heard when I am in a hole and need  rescuing again!  He quoted a prophet and said ' We do not have to cry unto him with many words. We do not have to weary him with long prayers. What we do need, and what we should do as Latter-day Saints, for our own good, is to go before him often, to witness unto him that we remember him and that we are willing to take upon us his name, keep his commandments, work righteousness; and that we desire his Spirit to help us.”  Keep the faith :)

Well I really am up and running!

,That no sacrificeYHIt's been an exciting day!  Thanks to the marvellous Maria and the IT and biscuity thing munch and mingle, BTW it was a great activity, I now have a picture or two on my blog and it a little customised!  I have decided that I will blog at least once a week so I won't need to phone anyone any more or at least text, my sausage fingers are not very quick!
Well I have had a busy week.  I went to Sheffield on Thursday on the train and made a new friend/work colleague, the lovely Jenny, she is a real inspiration and someone who it was great to spend some time with.  Looking forward to a few more hours with you Jenny ( however  she may not feel the same!). We had a party for  RS birthday social on Wednesday and it was good old plain fashioned fun with a few silly games with Suze the RS president winning them all, no it was sheer fluke.  Great food from JoJo. The variations on a hot dog were really good.  I think however the hook to reel the sisters in were the Krispy Kreme doughnuts. Child 5 has been insured on the car for a week so I've not really seen it and it was sure good not having to get out of bed until 5.40am! And then going back for a snooze til 6.30 am. Could life get better?  Spent some of Saturday evening on tenterhooks as she was driving to Harbourne and had to negotiate some of spaghetti junction ( a few noodles). But just like Cinders the ball ended at 3.00pm today when the insurance finished.
I feel very grateful for the richness of my life.  I think of life's experiences as weaving a carpet for the afterlife, I hope it will be thick and soft and vibrant and like princess Jasmine and  Aladdin will transport himself and I off to a whole new world when we are old and all used up.  In reality I may just end up with a left over carpet tile.  Thomas S Monson said No sacrifice is too great, no price too heavy, no struggle too difficult in order to receive those blessings, so I shall set too and get weaving!
Keep the faith.
